Full time: 9:30-5:30 M-F, non-exempt
Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Communications, this position is responsible for assisting the Firm's Communications Group in researching, writing, editing and distributing a number of high-visibility written communications. This position is also responsible for the content management and functionality of the firm's web site.
Responsible for the content development, approval process and distribution of internal communications vehicles, the Firm's weekly internal newsletter which is a compilation of recent transactions and matters; lawyer news, publications and events; and developments relating to the Firm. This position will also handle the content development an internal newsletter which highlights practice areas; firm news, initiatives and departments; and alumni news.
Write and post Firm-related news, achievements, publications and lawyer speaking engagements to the web site; update other areas of the site to reflect recent Firm recognitions and important developments; update the Alumni section with news and features based on interviews with notable alumni; work with the Graphics team to coordinate creation and uploading of appropriate images for the web site; liaise with IT department and outside vendor to resolve issues and implement improvements.
Assist Business Development team in developing business development materials, including practice area descriptions, brochures, attorney biographies, and other firm publications and collateral material.
