Requirements:
Required: 5 years or more of various packaging, graphics and/or production experience or extensive project management experience in a company with high volume and a time sensitive account base.
• Preferred: Minimum 5 years sales or related experience selling packaging, making sales presentations, coordinating bid packages or working with sales teams.
Job Description:
Working knowledge of wholesale and/or retail use of corrugated or folding boxes and flexible packaging.
• General understanding of various types of POP displays, flexible packaging, corrugated and folding boxes, and litho works.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively work to completion with accuracy and within timeline assigned.
• Ability to manage timelines and effectively prioritize tasks on a regular basis,
• General understanding of tooling used in the manufacturing of various types of packaging, including but not limited to corrugated and folding cartons and flexible packaging.
• Ability to effectively negotiate with vendors in the procurement process of freight, products, tooling and other related services as necessary.
• Effectively manage a supply chain process from inception of an item to completion including accurate and on time delivery..
• This job will require interpersonal communications such as advising, recommending, delegating, exchanging information, selling and persuading.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
